Project Description

This documentary was made as an ode to the artists of the world. Max is a close personal friend who does woodworking, and I wanted to highlight his work and what it means to him. The goal of this film, from an assignment standpoint, was to capture the process of him creating. As the camera operator and gaffer, I captured all of the visual moments of this process and helped my team with their jobs. I also worked as the audio editor for the film and produced the graphics for the graphics editor to use as well as designed the poster. This film was sent to festivals around the globe, where we totaled 12 awards, becoming the most awarded film in the program’s history, with one being best cinematography for my work behind the camera.
